How to use Proviron?
ORAL USE
ADULT USE
The tablets should be taken whole, with a small amount of liquid.
Dosage and duration of treatment must be at the doctor’s discretion.
In general, the dosage follows the following recommendations:
Decreased physical and mental capacity in middle-aged or elderly patients and potency disorders.
Start of treatment
1 tablet, 3 times a day. Once satisfactory clinical improvement has been achieved, your doctor may reduce the dose.
Continuation of treatment
1 tablet, 1 or 2 times a day. Depending on the type and severity of the complaints, the dose for continued treatment should be adjusted by the doctor to your individual needs. Continuous treatment for several months is recommended.
Hypogonadism
Hypogonadism requires ongoing therapy. For the development of secondary male sexual characteristics, 1 or 2 tablets of Proviron (mesterolone) are recommended, 3 times a day, for several months. As a maintenance dose, 1 tablet, 2 or 3 times a day, is often sufficient.
Infertility – to improve sperm quantity and quality
You can take 1 tablet, 2 or 3 times a day, for one cycle of spermatogenesis, that is, for approximately 90 days. If necessary, your doctor may repeat the treatment after an interval of several weeks. To increase the concentration of fructose in sperm, in cases of post-pubertal Leydig cell insufficiency, your doctor should prescribe 1 tablet, twice a day for several months.
Treatment interruption
Follow your doctor’s instructions, always respecting the times, doses and duration of treatment. Do not stop treatment without your doctor’s knowledge.
This medicine should not be broken, opened or chewed.
When should I not use Proviron?
The product is contraindicated in cases of prostate carcinoma and history or presence of a liver tumor, hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active substance or to any of the product’s components.
